Our Facilities

Our facility features a fully equipped gymnasium/weights room with both Nautalis and chrome pin/plate loaded machines, as well as a large selection of Australian Barbell Co. and Hammer Strength free weights. We have all the machines, equipment and free weights you require to perform an elaborate resistance and gym based training program.

Our cardio area is located upstairs, fully air-conditioned and separate to our gymnasium/weights room. Comprised of mainly Life Fitness cardio equipment, the recently refurbished area features a Concept2 rowing machine, two Life Fitness treadmills, a Life Fitness upright bike and a Life Fitness cross trainer, two StairMaster recumbent exercise bikes, a StairMaster FreeClimber and a CV9 vibration trainer.

Another entirely separate room, our huge group fitness studio and Martial Arts Dojo, features a fully sprung Reebok floor for low impact, a range of functional training equipment, air-conditioning, pigeon holes for storage and mirrors throughout to encourage and promote correct form.

Our hydrotherapy area features a Finnish-style dry steam sauna, a cold plunge pool, a hydrotherapy jet spa and a private therapy room.

Hydrotherapy recovery, or contrast therapy, works by immersing a limb, or the entire body in warm water, and then immediately into cold water. The warmth of the water allows the surface blood vessels to expand (vasodilation), and the cold water forces them to contract (vasoconstriction). By alternating between both temperatures, this acts as a pump on the blood vessels and lymphatic system, pumping the stagnant fluid and toxins from the muscles and body, reducing inflammation and improving recovery time.

The hydrotherapy jet spa, set to an optimal temperature of 38°C, increases skin temperature and opens the blood vessels, while the resistance of the water creates buoyancy and hydrostatic pressure, helping to increase blood circulation, reduce pain, muscle spasms, swelling and stiffness of the muscles and joints.

The Finnish-style dry steam sauna also opens the pores and blood vessels, reaching temperatures between 90-110°C, with only 20-35% humidity. This type of sauna is ideal for reducing aches and pains, expelling toxins from the body, improving circulation, lowering blood pressure and releasing tension.

The plunge pool completes the cycle, at an average temperature of 12°C; the cold water closes the pores and blood vessels, helping to stimulate the body, reduce inflammation and pain and flush out toxins and waste products that accumulate during exercise.

We have separate male and female change room facilities, located both upstairs and downstairs.

Downstairs, each change room features two showers, a change area, separate toilet, a basin and mirrors. Upstairs, each change room features a change area, separate toilet, a basin and a mirror.
